Martin Sollien
Senior UX developer
I'm a developer in Oslo that like to use my creativity to build cool stuff.
I have over 9 years experience working with writing,
SEO, design and developing, both in-house and with clients.
My path started with creative writing at Westerdals ACT, which then led to me working at Publicis
as a copywriter. While I like
to express myself creatively, technology and computers have always interested me. So since I
started out as a copywriter, I've gradually transitioned into coding, with a detour within SEO.
I've been coding for the past 5 years and can reap the fruits of both
creative expression and solving problems with technology – to my great satisfaction.
When I'm not coding, you can usually find me gaming, playing drums, reading books, or in the gym.

A personal wedding website I made for my own wedding. We needed a place to share information about the wedding, and we wanted to have a clean and consistent theme for it. I decided to built it myself from scratch, using Astro for a simple and fast static experience.

Is Zed the VS Code killer?
Zed editor is made by the renowned team behind the Atom text editor, and stands to be a serious contender to VS Code. I've tested it and given it some thought.
This site was made by me from the bottom up with Astro and Tailwind / SCSS.
